Blu Alexander

I am a seasoned leader in the fields of geosynthetics and geotextiles, with a varied skill set including project management, business development, client relations and strategic planning. As Director of Business Development at ThermaGreen Eniornmental, I work with clients around the world to provide innovative solutions through the conversion of polyethylene foam materials into cost-effective and high-performing products. Through intensive testing and trials, I have helped develop an ever-growing number of applications of ThermaGreen products including floating islands, athletic turf and playground underlay, and rooftop gardens. I have had the privilege of wearing many hats throughout my international career including agriculturalist, travel guide, and construction manager. These experiences make me uniquely qualified to effectively lead multifaceted projects both in Canada and abroad, as well assisting clients navigate any challenging situations that may arise. Outside of the office, you can find spending time with my family on the ski hill or hiking trail, out on the water sailing, or catching up on the latest rugby news.
