Solomons Builders Inc. Is a Class A general contracting business since 1999. We are licensed in the state of Virginia. Our Federal ID# is 22-3848154. As a class “A” contractor, we are licensed to perform or manage construction, removal, repair, or improvements. Our scope of practice includes but is not limited to functions carried out by the following specialties: Custom home building, commercial improvement contracting, farm improvement contracting, home improvement contracting, landscaping services, modular manufactured building contracting, recreational facility contracting. At Solomons Builders, we take pride in the fact that we can give our customers a complete, satisfactory, turn/key job. Our employees are experienced professionals. We do most of the work ourselves, only sub-contracting the electrical, plumbing, HVAC, sheetrock, and carpet installation. These subcontractors have also been with us for several years. On a personal note, Mr. Edwards and his wife Sheri have 6 kids together and 8 grand children. Mr Edwards is also part owner of Faithful Fanatics which is located in Suffolk, Virginia. Mr. Edwards is the Men’s Director for Bible World Church located in Chesapeake, and is also the Section One Men’s Leader. Bob Edwards is certified in the ACTS (alcohol and chemical treatment series), which allows him to participate extensively in helping people overcome their addictions to drugs and alcohol. He is also certified as a Life Coach through UPC, and has participated in two mission trips to Thailand. Mr. Edwards also served as the general contractor and leader for the inaugural “Church in a Day” project in the state of Virginia – building an entire church from start to finish in just one day.
