I am a results-driven IT executive with over 30 years of experience leading both operational and project teams. My experience includes strategic business planning and the development of IT strategies that result in higer levels of IT efficiency and effectiveness. The majority of my business and IT experince has come from the Financial Services industry in Investment Banking, Brokerage and Investment Advisory. I spent the largest part of my career, as a Director, with the Investment Banking Firm, Alex Brown and Sons where I managed the eCommerce group, which provided strategic direction and development oversight for the evolution of Alex Brown’s client facing web sites and the intranet. Alex Brown’s development environment included: JAVA, J2EE, Weblogic, Teamsite and DB2. I managed the employee stock option and stock purchase business for several years and deployed some of the first trading websites for Alex Brown. I have been licensed as a stockbroker (Series 7), a branch manager (Series 8) and a National Association of Securities Dealer Principal (Series 24).
