Bobby Baine

Bobby Baine is an Incident Response Consultant in Optiv’s Enterprise Incident Management practice. Bobby’s role is to assist Optiv’s clients in containing and investigating information security incidents through forensic investigation and malware analysis. Bobby is a certified computer forensic examiner with over fifteen years of digital forensics experience coupled with 21 years of investigative experience as a law enforcement officer, Major Fraud detective, and Cyber Crime detective for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. Additionally, Bobby has experience as an independent consultant for law firms and large corporations. Bobby has provided expert testimony in numerous courts consisting of both State and Federal jurisdictions to include: St. Louis Metropolitan Circuit Court, St. Louis Metropolitan City Court, United States Federal Court—Eastern District of Missouri and United States Federal Court—Southern District of Illinois. Bobby has over 20 years of court room testimony experience with approximately 15 years being directly related to digital evidence. Bobby holds certifications in the field of digital forensics and has attended numerous advanced forensics training courses from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center and The National Computer Forensic Institute through the United States Secret Service. Bobby spent twenty-one years in law enforcement which has provided him a unique perspective into the criminal justice system and an added layer of knowledge which he utilizes during incident response engagements and forensic investigations.
