Borja Martínez Calvo

Aeronautical engineer with 10+ years of experience in the aerospace industry. During my career I have participated in complex and large-scale projects, from missions to Mars to space telescopes searching for exoplanets, collaborating with international partners from industry as well as from governmental and academic institutions. The challenges brought by these projects have allowed me to grow my technical know-how beyond my academic background. I enjoy very much being part of multidisciplinary teams and learning from my colleagues. My ambition is to always grow in ways that make my team stronger. Having had the opportunity to work in different countries with people from different cultures and backgrounds, I have learnt to communicate effectively on the basis of empathy, respect and trust. As a solution-oriented person, I believe that there is no obstacle that can’t be overcome with the right mindset and approach.
