Brad Genre

As a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University in Business Administration (with a concentration in International Business), I am currently exercising and applying the skills learned through my degree, coupled with several years of experience as a business professional. My professional career spans over multiple areas of responsibility that have been performed for my employers in many different conditions and with varying complexities. I have 15 total years of experience in the workforce. I put myself through college while working full time, and have spent the last eight years serving as Land Manager for Opportune, LP. I consider my experience to be well rounded, consisting of skills like procedures development, business development activities to include sales and system demonstrations, and training/continuing education/teambuilding of our existing staff. I try to exhibit a modern style of leadership that is constantly morphing based on new things that I learn, and I have been fortunate to be rewarded with much responsibility because of this quality. I am extremely personable and desire to become a charismatic leader—while at the same time, striving to be the best team player I can be. Thus far, my entire management philosophy embraces teamwork, and in my experience, it has inspired and encouraged the employees in my charge to excel in task and morale. I have recently relocated back to Baton Rouge, LA to be nearer to my family and am open to exploring new opportunities.
