Choosing a Mortgage Lender shouldn't be as complicated as finding your new home, but it should be just as important. I want each and every one of my clients to be successful in their home-ownership journey and I pride myself on my ability to guide each of my clients through the different mortgage solutions in order to meet their needs—including helping those clients who are not quite ready to buy a home now. I started my career as a Loan Originator in 2002 and recently joined Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation in November of 2019. I bring those 17 years of experience to the table with each client I see. I'm happy to say that I've served as the Mortgage Lender for multiple generations in some families. Those same happy clients are the reason I've been honored as one of Seattle Magazine's "5 Star Mortgage Professionals" for 11 years running, and member of our President's Club for many years. This is why I always offer a simple and straight forward 5-minute consultation to learn about a potential client and their needs— I want to be able to work for my clients in achieving the dream of owning a home. One of the many reasons I chose Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation is because we willfully underwrite loans up-front—a major difference between us and other Mortgage Companies. Prior to my life as a Mortgage Lender, I worked in banking as an assistant manager in a personal loans department for 7 years, and I ran a travel agency with my father and brother for 19 years. I'm a Bellevue native and UW alumnus, and I believe in giving back to and creating a strong community. I've been a member of the Bellevue Noon Rotary Club for 32 years and previously served on the Boys & Girls Club Board of Directors for 9 years. I also enjoy coaching basketball, and have coached at every level from the Boys & Girls Club kids' league to high school varsity and select league teams.
