Energy creation and distribution is in the first inning in a transition from central to distributed generation, from low-tech gas/coal to solar/wind/storage, from carbon to low/no carbon. The energy sector is currently in the early stages of a massive 20+ year capex cycle. Over time the technology moves to the edge of the network, giving users more technology, control and independence. In 2008, after a decade in Semis & TMT, my focus shifted to solar and renewable technologies. Over this period of time the industry has expanded its MW shipments by 100x. My focus as an investment banker is to work with great companies in this sector. Our team's key contributions are capital, marketing intelligence and a deep network across the industry.
