Brad Thomson

Brad graduated from AC Arts after Stage Managing Little Shop of Horrors for the college. It wasn’t long after finishing that show that he was asked to stage manage Magic Flute for the Elder Conservatorium in conjunction with the G&S Society of SA. Following this show he went to work on the National Regional Arts conference held in Goolwa. Brad was involved in the running of the Adelaide Festival’s hit club, Barrio for the two years that it was held. He’s had the privilege to work on amazing shows such as Brink's Land & Sea and recently worked with five.point.one on the world premier of Van Badham’s Muff and was the production stage manager for Foul Play’s Macbeth. He has recently finished working with the acclaimed Alirio Zavarce on his production of 'A Kid Like Me' by the True North Youth Theatre Ensemble. Brad is the recipient of the inaugural Arts Excellence award for Stage Management at AC Arts. My Passion in life is to help create fantastic theatre. Stage Management is the best way for me to do just that. Through this career, I am able to work with some great minds and see them take what is written on paper and turn it into something amazing. I love to help Directors and cast by thinking of technical and logistical things for them, so that they can focus on producing the best work that is possible.
