Brad Watson

As an effective leader and team member on both the Owner and Consultant sides of the construction industry for over 24 years, I have a thorough understanding of how industry works. In my current position, I have the unique role of being both a people leader and Senior Project Manager; I work in and on the business! I am a quiet leader, yet will always support my team when needed; I believe in empowerment over micro-management. My calm, adaptive nature and excellent organizational skills supplemented with my willingness to try new things have helped me thrive in leadership roles and work with diverse groups of people. I have developed and adapted my leadership style to suit the differing personalities and abilities of the project managers I have led – I have built trusting and respectful relationships with them. I take pride in helping them develop meaningful annual growth and performance plans and meet with them regularly to discuss their progress. I advocate the use of collaborative technologies, methods and unique ideas in order to achieve efficient, consistent, integrated and transparent project planning and delivery. I am an advocate for change and promote continuous improvement of processes in order to inspire trust and meet the expectations of my Clients and Business Partners. Leadership styles and qualities I possess are: adaptability, agility, active listening, transparency and emotional intelligence. I have a keen interest in Integrated Project Delivery, focusing on full team collaboration, commitment and accountability, yet understanding that there may be a better procurement method for any given project. I'm open to exploring opportunities where I can further develop and broaden my leadership, coaching and strategic thinking skills.
