Throughout my career, I worked in many different manufacturing environments and wore many different hats-Project Manager, Lean Coordinator, Manufacturing Operations Manager, and General Manager. As a result, I have a unique ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects and to navigate complex challenges in a manufacturing environment while upholding safety and quality. Leadership roles in any manufacturing environment provide new and exciting challenges everyday. While I am willing to take on any challenge that faces a business, I know that I cannot do it alone. As a leader, my primary responsibility is to build, motivate, and support all levels of the business and employees to ensure we all strive towards the same goals and at the correct pace. It's the people—whether employees, vendors, contractors, clients, or partners--that impact operations and results. I believe understanding that is the key to my success. A few accomplishments I'm proud of include:► Reduced risk exposure for the organization with 300+ employees by implementing new safety programs leading to zero recordable accidents at Southwest United Industries.► Returned company to profitability by driving reductions in cost and increases in productivity while overseeing the two largest production programs in history at Helicomb International.► Increased revenue over 25% by securing $6M in annual new business at Southwest United.► Decreased fixed expenses 25% using lean principles and waste reduction at Southwest United.► Slashed manufacturing and tooling footprint by 20% and 40% respectively, allowing space to onboard additional business at Helicomb International.► Saved $25M by eliminating defects, utilizing lean methodologies to reduce waste, and implementing Six Sigma to cut variations at USC Consulting Group.
