Brandis Lynne is the Founder and CEO of iWILLrecover. After losing her brother to an accidental overdose, Brandis began research to learn more about addiction and how it's impacting lives across the nation. It was through her efforts to understand more that iWILLrecover was created. In an interview about how she plans to help through iWILLrecover, Brandis said; "I knew going into this that it would be a challenge because it's not the traditional-- idea, sell, grow startup. Addiction is complex and to create any kind of noticeable impact, it requires a multi-faceted approach. We need to integrate people, technology, addiction and recovery health differently." When asked what her biggest challenge has been so far she said; "Stigma and lack of education. There's a declared epidemic in our country that the general population has no idea even exists. The U.S. hasn't seen anything like this before so it requires professionals; medical, legal, government and community members to think differently and work together in ways that they haven't had to work together before." Brandis is a member of the Heroin Task Force which is comprised of Medical and Government Agencies. She previously served as Board President at Oakes Children's Center and a member of numerous other philanthropic organizations.
