Brandon Bryant

Brandon Lee Bryant is, among other things, currently 2017 NATAS Suncoast Emmy News winner, 2015 NATAS Mid-America 2x Emmy Sports Feature nominee, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 & 2019 RTDNA Edward R. Murrow Award-winning, Multi-Media Journalist & Photographer with loads of experience covering sports, politics & crime throughout the country. Major news articles in which Brandon covered were stories of the death surrounding George Floyd/Officer Derrick Chauvin case in Minneapolis, MN from jury selection to the verdict, Daunte Wright/Officer Kim Potter shooting case from jury selection to the verdict, Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman case - The ‘Stand Your Ground’ law, Jordan Davis Murder case and the last 4 Presidential elections. On top of those stories, his sports coverage remains consistent in his journalism career from covering 2 BCS Championship games, 4 CFP Semifinals & Championship games, NFL, NBA, MLB, & The 2017 Super Bowl in Atlanta & numerous of other high school & college bowl games. He is currently working NBCU Miami. With years of experience working in radio and as a former MMJ in the past, He is certified by the Associated Press as a News Photographer and Sports Contributor Writer & Photographer for several regional and national sports organizations & networks. When Brandon is not in front or behind a TV screen, he serves in his community with several local organizations, giving back a couple hours in community service every weekend. He is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists, National Association of Broadcasters, National Press Photographers Association, National Radio Broadcasters Association, NATAS, or National Academy of Television Artist & Science voter & member, & is an alumnus for the Boys and Girls Club of America where Brandon has won several awards & honors on the local & national level. Brandon is also part of the local PAL, or Police Athletic League, as a volunteer for youth football. Brandon is a musician, artist, & media consultant for several churches & small businesses. In all his doings, he is reminded every day that it's never about him. He always put God first in everything he does.
