Brendan Spitzley

I am a construction project manager/estimator/site supervisor for a high end custom home builder in northern Michigan. We also do extensive custom high end renovations, remodels, and additions on occasion. Prior to my current position I was a Construction Project Manager and Site Supervisor for a real estate development company in Traverse City, Mi. I was also an estimator for another construction in the area as well. I am experienced in managing residential home building projects, site supervision, estimating, permitting and inspecting, material takeoffs, residential building code, scheduling, managing subcontractors, managing real estate development projects, site development, and site supervision. Also, I am an experienced insurance underwriter specializing in estimating high value custom homes and risk management. I have an extensive history as an IT Project Manager and corporate trainer with experience in financial services. I also worked in financial services and have passed the series 7 and series 66 financial licensing courses but are not currently active. When I went back to school to study construction management at Northwestern Michigan College I also studied Lean Manufacturing and received a certificate in Lean Manufacturing. I hold a Bachelor (BA) of Business Administration from Michigan State University and an Associate of Applied Sciences (AAS), Construction Management from Northwestern Michigan College, and a Post Baccalaureate in Construction Management from Louisiana State University. I am also a licensed residential builder in the state of Michigan.
