Brenden Keller

My professional job experience began in an Accounts Payable Filing Clerk role at Johnny Mac's Sporting Goods where I handled the scanning, filing, and look-up of checks and vendor invoices. I was then promoted to the management of a couple of store specific accounts where I handed all of the accounts payable responsibilities. Through my 3 years of experience at Johnny Mac's, I was able to be introduced to many accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, various reconciliations, etc. I moved on to Whelan Security in a hybrid Accounting/Finance Internship role where I was and still am able to hone my accounting skills. I have been introduced to many facets of payroll, bank reconciliations, data entry/analysis, etc. Once the internship ended in early August, I was hired on in a part time hybrid Accounting/Finance role where I continue to do perform much of the same tasks as I complete my senior year of college at Lindenwood University.
