I am a Senior E&I Compliance Supervisor and Maintenance Technician with 19 years on Greenfield and Brownfield construction, commissioning and maintenance projects and operations in the underground and open cut lithium, iron ore, copper, nickel and lead mining, and power-gen sectors. I ensure compliance with statutory electrical maintenance requirements, assist with the development of maintenance, shutdown and project plans, and am highly experienced delivering high-quality preventative, reactive and shutdown maintenance, testing and repair services for a range of electrical, automation, instrumentation and process control systems and equipment used to power, control and safeguard continuous minerals processing circuits and power stations. Key Areas of Expertise: ➡ Installation, commissioning, calibration, loop checking and tuning, fault-diagnosis, inspection, overhaul and preventative, breakdown and shutdown maintenance of a wide array of E&I systems and equipment used in minerals processing circuits including crushing, screening, filtering, beneficiation, acid leaching, autoclaves, U/G jumbos and ventilation fans ➡ Monitoring statutory electrical maintenance compliance requirements, assisting with development and reporting of E&I maintenance, shutdown and project plans, providing technical and procedural guidance and mentoring to E&I staff and contractors, and leading by example regarding overall compliance with HSE, PTW and LOTO systems and procedures ➡ Completing FIC’s, ITP’s, ITR’s and NCR’s, using Pronto, SAP, Ellipse and AMS CMMS for order tracking, task scheduling, maintenance logging and inventory management, and reading and interpreting P&ID’s, schematics and AS/NZS Standards ➡ Pressure, level, flow, density, temp, vibration, speed, weight, pH, fire and gas detectors, positioners, relays, controllers, valves, PLC’s, DCS, SCADA, SIS, UPS, VSD’s, MCC’s, CB’s, DB’s, transformers, switchgear, earthing, lighting and cabling ➡ Strong planning, technical analytical and autonomous fault-finding and rectification skills, using Profibus and Foundation Fieldbus systems, and HV switching for the monitoring, control and protection of power conducting components ➡ Design, verification, approval and installation of safe isolations, and de-isolations for returns to service/reinstatement.
