Brett Wells

Most of my career has been about serving others. I was born and raised in Norristown, PA and am a graduate of Norristown Area High School. After high school, I attended Salem College, in West Virginia, where I earned a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Youth and Human Services/Non-Profit Management. My career began in 1989 as a District Executive with the Valley Forge Council, Boy Scouts of America. I left in 1995 as a Senior District Executive and went into the for-profit sector for a brief period. In 1997, I returned to the non-profit field and served in various capacities with the Phoenixville area YMCA. In 2004 I became the first Executive Director of the Greater Norristown Police Athletic League and served in that position for nearly 11 years. Since 2015, I have been the Director of Development for Indian Creek Foundation; a service provider for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I've served as a board member and President of the Rotary Club of Norristown, Vice President of the Methacton Football Parents Club and President of the Education Foundation for the Methacton Community. I was awarded the EANA Friend of Education Award in 2005, Norristown Weed & Seed Outstanding Team Service Award in 2007, Communities that Care for Norristown Recognition Award in 2011 and was honored by the Norristown Area Education Foundation for my community work in 2012. I live in Eagleville, PA with my wife and have two adult sons.
