I focus my practice primarily in the areas of commercial litigation and arbitration and advise clients on a wide range of commercial matters, including contractual disputes, fraud and business tort actions, international and cross-border disputes, M&A disputes, securities litigation, healthcare and reimbursement disputes, trade secret and restrictive covenant disputes, partnership and corporate divorce actions, sale of goods disputes, and copyright and trademark litigation. I also have substantial experience defending banks, broker-dealers and registered representatives in financial services litigation matters in state and federal courts, as well as before FINRA Dispute Resolution. As a native Spanish speaker, my practice places a particular emphasis on disputes involving Latin America and I have significant experience representing clients in international and cross-border disputes in court and in arbitration proceedings under the auspices of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR), the American Arbitration Association (AAA), the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), JAMS, and in ad hoc arbitration proceedings under the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules.
