Brian Gatta

​Brian M. Gatta is an associate in the Washington office of Hughes Hubbard & Reed. Mr. Gatta has experience with a broad range of import and export-related international trade issues, which include: compliance with the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and sanctions administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC); valuation, classification and origin issues arising under U.S. customs law, including litigation before the Court of International Trade, as well as anti-dumping and countervailing duty proceedings. Mr. Gatta has also advised multinationals, trade associations and sovereign governments in connection with free trade agreement negotiation, and has been involved in the litigation of several disputes before the WTO.
