Brian O'Mahony

An enthusiastic project engineer and lean black belt, in the biochemical process industry. A wide range of technical experience, having designed piping systems anywhere from 1/2” to 36” diameter. Including pumps, heat exchangers, vessels, valves and equipment, often with specialised materials or welding requirements. Managed all stages of concurrently running projects, from kickoff, scheduling, design and reviews, procurement, fabrication, testing and CE certifying, through to shipping and after sales on-site support. Excellent communication, analytical skills and attention to detail. Developed through management of over 20 projects valued from €100,000 to €3Million. Specific focus on piping design and equipment specification. Outside of work; an avid whitewater kayaker, who shows leadership and team working skills while guiding/teaching groups in Ireland and abroad. A proven history of pursuing ambitious goals; in professional, personal and sporting environments. A genuine passion for problem solving and project management in all parts of my life.
