My experience and knowledge in education and of education issues would be a benefit in this position. At Burnsville I have helped in the Union through government relation, member rights and negotiations action committee. My time as a part time field rep taught me how to organize and train members so that they could lead their locals. I also helped the Bloomington School District nurses collectively bargain their contract. I have also gone through many of the Education Minnesota trainings such as Member rights, Negotiations and TALL. I have also assisted in instruction in many of these training.
