Brian Slevin

I am currently working in Astellas Pharmaceutical in Damastown Blanchardstown Dublin for the Past 5 years; I secured a placement with Astellas, a pharmaceutical company in Blanchardstown as part of my 3rd year work placement for DCU through an INTRA Programme which lasted 6 months. Following participation in the INTRA Programme, I was employed there for a further 1 year, as I deferred final year to gain more experience, As my course could not be finished part time in Dcu I transferred my credits over to the Open University to complete my Final year part time over two years while continuing my work with Astellas, I am very lucky to start my employment with Astellas as it gave me great experience in all aspects of QC, which let me gain experience in many areas of the Pharmaceutical industry. In 2013 I went from a QC analyst to a QC Chemist.
