Brianna Williams

Brianna Williams is a Senior Color Material & Finish Designer at Newell Brands, working on Beverage and Home Fragrance brands. She uses thorough trend research, consumer analysis, POS data, and brand values to funnel an overall brand CMF strategy CMF that is implemented in each project. Through her previous job experience as a paint lab technician at Axalta Coating Systems (automotive paint supplier), she is able to mix up paint formulas, create color targets, custom samples and paint models in the model shop to further communicate her vision on each project. Williams is passionate about furthering student education and raising awareness to students what CMF design is. She is now the team leader of the Design Education Initiative at Newell Brands. This team is dedicated to working with students, career events, and universities to provide students a point of view from a professional world through portfolio reviews, mentorships, sponsored studios, and mock interviews. She spoke at the Detroit Color Council March 26, 2019 on how she approaches designing color palettes through various research methods.
