I have achieved eight years of experience providing patient care to critically ill patients as a registered nurse in varied intensive care units. I have been fortunate enough to develop the ability to retain composure during acutely changing circumstances, make difficult decisions in stressful situations, and efficiently and accurately perform tasks and interventions, while appropriately adapting patient care based on the present condition. I am organized and detail-oriented with high standards of professional performance. I am comfortable working very long hours; the typical nursing shift lasts about 13.5 hours. I have achieved educational experience, providing clinical guidance and instruction to both nursing students and new employees orienting to the intensive care unit. I learn quickly, adapt to new roles and fields of study, and easily get along with every personality type. Throughout all of my unit transitions, I have maintained a very high level of professionalism, compassion, empathy, and work ethic. My skills in customer service have never waivered, and I create a sense of warmth and comfort to those around me. I would excel in any position, and I know that I would prove myself as an asset to the team within a short amount of time.
