Brody Dingel

I like solving real-world problems through software engineering, and my background in applied linguistics provides me with a unique ability to do so. My current position at Hy-Vee on the Aisles Online team allows my team to help millions of people by delivering an online grocery solution to those who want/need it, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. In this role, I am able to use my critical thinking and problem-solving skills learned during my degrees to develop high-quality content to help our customers. In my spare time, I work as President of the Linguatorium Research Corporation to deliver online language learning tools based on research findings to students across the world. This project allows me to utilize my applied linguistics background to help students and teachers alike, while also working alongside the lead software engineer to design optimal solutions for all involved.
