About
My career in the fitness and wellness industry started back in 2002 when I began teaching group exercise classes at the university I attended. Since graduating in 2005, I have worked with employees of hospitals ranging from small rural hospitals to large urban level one trauma center hospitals with thousands of employees. I have provided 1:1 personal training and wellness coaching services and group exercise classes to hundreds of people. I have also designed and implemented numerous programs to enhance well-being. Healthcare workers need to hear the message of the necessity of self-care because of the challenging work they do day in and day out caring for patients. But you know what, mothers are another group of people who need to hear this message clearly. We need to open up to each other about the struggles we are facing first of all to regain our strength in our pelvic floor and also to accept our new beautiful bodies. Our bodies remind us that we are powerful women who carry babies, give birth to them, breast feed them, care for perhaps other children….all while dealing with the fluctuating hormones. It really is incredible if you take a moment to think about all that, right? Because I have been through the incredible journey of four pregnancies and recoveries, I have a lot to share and a lot to learn from others. As a Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Wellness Coach and group exercise instructor, I am blessed to use these tools to inspire care-givers to care for themselves first. It is an honor and a privilege to spread my joy of movement, self-care, and not taking life too seriously to the masses. I would love to be a part of your journey as a mother who prioritizes daily self-care in a way that works best in your life. Whether it’s through 1:1 wellness coaching, personal training, group exercise classes or virtual programs, let’s get started on this journey together.
