Over 38 years in the Pressure Sensitive Industry. Six Gigma Green Belt Certified(Fresh Bottle Labeling on HDPE) . Extensive knowledge of raw materials (face stocks, adhesives and liners) as well as their physical characteristics, Adhesive coating and lamination processes, printing processes (UV Flexo, Screen, Gravure, Offset and Digital) and ink performance across both filmic and paper face stocks, converting process (die cutting) and label application and specifically films and Thin Films performance on both high speed rotary and lower speed inline applicators . Extensive knowledge of the interaction between label to container with regards to container polymer type and psl adhesive performance as well as post label application performance on container with regards to label type to container type, rigid to conformable label performance needs. I have supported customer process and co-packer technical requirements with on-site support when required. This support both on printing press and at label decoration lines.Lived 24 months ( arrived 12-2014) in Singapore supporting the start-up of National Label Companies' third printing facility. I supported the Asean regions of Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam as well as China, India and Russia during the 24 month period .. as well as all other global regions when technical support was required. Relocated back stateside November 2015.December 2016 accepted position with UPM Raflatac, Director Global Technical Films Support. Working with Brand Owners and Converters on new filmic Innovations and future Innovations Globally.
