Professional Land Surveyor in the States of Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee. I have been surveying since 2002 when I was offered a position as a rodman by a family member who owned an Engineering and Land Surveying firm in Northern Kentucky. After a few months of field work, I knew that I was meant to be a Land Surveyor. I chose to attend college at Cincinnati State for my Associates in Civil Engineering-Surveying and finished my Degree at Northern Kentucky University with a B.S. In Construction Management-Land Surveying. Immediately upon graduation I sat for my L.S.I.T. Exam (Land Surveyor in Training) in an effort to further my career. I progressed quickly from the entry level position, to a field crew chief and eventually a project coordinator. Once I had achieved the appropriate experience I sat for the Professional Surveyor Examination in Ohio and subsequently Tennessee and most recently Kentucky. My areas of expertise include boundary surveys, mortgage inspections, ALTA/NSPS Surveys, topographic and quantity Surveys, FEMA elevation certifications and LOMA surveys, route and utility surveys, right-of-way acquisition services, archeological investigation mapping, building surveys, construction layout and Oil and Gas surveying. I am pleased to announce the formation of B A Land Professionals, LLC. Donovan Benson, P.S. And I partnering together in the startup of a Professional Land Consulting firm out of Dayton, OH to serve all of your land surveying needs in Southwest Ohio and beyond. We would appreciate the opportunity to put our combined 36 years of Land Surveying and project management experience to use for your project!
