Bryna Morrison

With over 10 years’ experience working in healthcare I am continuously looking to further my knowledge and education. After finishing high school I started a job at a doctor's office as medical office administrator, it was then that I decided that the medical field was a major interest of mine. I then went back to school in 2013 at Algonquin College and successfully completed the personal support worker program with a GPA of 3.6. During the program I had the opportunity to do my clinical placements at the Perley Rideau Veterans' Health Centre, my first placement was on the Veterans' ward, and the second placement was on the dementia ward. Once completing the program I got a job working in home health care and instantly loved having the opportunity to help the clients and their families fulfill their wishes of staying in their home, although there were disabilities or health issues that prevented them from being able to fully care for themselves alone. I have experience working with male and female clients, individuals with chronic health issues, palliative care, and dementia to name a few.
