Senior Economist- Government of Uganda |Investment Advisory - East Africa|| Water Regulation| Public Adminstration| Law Enthusiast | Oil & Gas I Extractives I International Trade I Competition & Regulation I Public Policy I Law I Governance | Investment Appraisal A Senior Economist in the Ministry of Water and Environment in the Republic of Uganda, under the Water Utility Regulation Department. I have also worked in other Government Agencies including the Office of the President, Ministry of Information, Communication & technology, as well as the Ministry of Finance, Planning, and Economic Development, Uganda in undertaking Public Investment appraisal and management of the Public Investment Plan. I have experience of over 10 years of Public Policy Management and Practice, Public Investment Management and Regulation, within the ecosystem of Extractives and Sustainable investments, Natural Resource Governance (including water), Public-Private partnerships, Agro-Business management, and Public Sector Governance. I have an MBA-IB from Amity University – India, in addition to several other certifications and professional training from Korea Development Institute-Seoul, South Korea; The Academy for International Business Officials – Beijing, China; Fayoum University-Cairo, Egypt and the University of Cape Town – Cape Town, South Africa- as a fellow in the prestigious LEAD Program (Leadership in Extractives and African Development Program), among others. I also hold a Bachelor of Development Economics degree from Makerere University- Kampala, Uganda, and currently pursuing a Bachelors's of Law Degree.
