As Momentum’s Okanagan Partner, Cameron’s responsibilities include introducing the Okanagan Valley to the unique style of real estate services that Momentum provides. His CV boasts almost three decades of sales and marketing excellence that began shortly after completing his degree in Psychology and Sociology from King’s University. Cameron went on to build an extremely successful boutique insurance brokerage that assisted over six hundred companies from all across BC with their insurance needs. Shortly after the sale of the company, Cameron focused his attention on real estate. He knew there was no better fit for his skill set than the team assembled at Momentum. Cameron’s love of real estate began at age 20 when he bought his first home on Richter Street. After renovating and renting it out, he was hooked. Cameron’s approach to business has always been one of discipline, focus, and bringing creative collaborative energy. He constantly strives to maximize the potential within himself, those around him, and the projects he tackles. Cameron is known for demanding the best from himself and those who work with him but still values a good laugh and the importance of enjoying every day to the fullest. Cameron has applied the adage of “anything worth doing is worth overdoing” to his sense of curiosity, adventure, and ambition in both life and business. He has lived it out by riding camels in Cairo past the pyramids, living in a Ugandan tent for a month with his wife and 3 young kids, engaging in epic all-day mountain bike rides, and paddle boarding back and forth across Okanagan Lake just to have coffee with friends. On that note, it just wouldn’t be a fair description of Cameron if we didn’t at least mention his fascination with coffee. After all, he has bought a coffee roaster, imported beans and roasted his own coffee. If you want to know where you will have at least one meeting with Cameron, it’s safe to assume it will be at his latest favourite coffee shop.
