I'm equipped with 12 years of vacuum technology technical sales and marketing experience and have a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Marketing Management. I'm passionate about high technology and scientific research markets, which are supported by vacuum technology equipment. I was previously the director of global marketing at MDC Vacuum Products, LLC. In this role, I was responsible for all aspects of marketing for each of our four manufacturing divisions. Before MDC, I was the product marketing manager at LACO Technologies where I managed the Calibration Lab product group. The products in this group included calibrated gas leak standards and vacuum gauge calibration services. I oversaw all marketing efforts for this product line, acted as the technical sales contact, oversaw strategic planning, managed a cross-functional team of ten members, and was responsible for achieving sales and performance related goals for the group. We achieved an average annual growth rate of 20% during my three years as product manager. I also oversaw and carried out the successful product launch of LACO's TitanTest™ helium mass spectrometer leak detector. I began working in the vacuum technology industry as a sales engineer and marketing specialist at the vacuum valve manufacturer, HVA. While at HVA I was introduced to an array of markets including nanotechnology, semiconductor, thin film, solar, medical, scientific research, and aerospace. I enjoyed helping spread brand awareness for HVA among our target markets and took an interest in the applications our products supported. It is my goal to help equipment manufacturers succeed by marketing their process solutions to the technology innovators and scientific researchers who need them.
