I report into the Global Chief People Officer, I work closely with the Global EXCO DEI Champion to ensure that DEI is embedded into the organisational fabric and culture at Wavemaker. I manage a group of Global DEI Champions, made up of local market CEOs, and key stakeholders who are committed to spearheading change at Wavemaker. I am responsible for delivering the DEI goals and KPIs set out in our Global Strategy. I work closely with WPP (Wavemaker’s holding company) to ensure that the Op-Co’s are aligned and interconnected to help deliver ambitious goals around gender and ethnicity equality. Key achievements include: Managed an extensive listening project to understand employees’ experiences of DEI at Wavemaker. This involved quantitative research with 1151 employees across 6 countries (62% response rate), as well as in-depth interviews with leadership teams and key stakeholders from under-represented groups. Researched and wrote position papers on DEI that, alongside the employee research has been used as the backbone of Wavemaker's approach to DEI. Driving the implementation of the DEI Strategy by engaging with multiple teams; the Global EXCO Team, Global People Team, local market leadership and people teams and ERGs. The strategy has been adopted and adapted by 75% of Wavemaker’s local markets. Worked with the various ERG groups to ensure that they have coherent and consistent role, support, profile and an EXCO sponsor. United the ERGs across the different markets as a resource for the business. Recruitment and Progression; Worked with the People Team to ensure DEI is embedded across the recruitment and progression process. Worked with a cross-market team to create the 'Step-Up' Sponsorship programme, to support high potential talent from under-represented group.
