Candace Theriot

I have been a teacher in the Texas public school system for over ten years. I absolutely love to share the passion I have for teaching with others, and I feel fortunate to have that opportunity in my current position. I teach Education and Training courses in the Career and Technology department at one of the top high schools in the country. I work with juniors and seniors that plan to attend college to become teachers themselves. I also manage our on-site preschool lab that provides my students with hands-on experience and affords me my own research lab. I am currently in graduate school working on a masters degree in Educational Technology and a Masters Technology Teacher Certificate. After obtaining my masters degree, I would like to work at the district level training other teachers in instructional design and technology.
