Carla Botelho is the head of the 5G Program and Innovation Direction at NOS Portugal since September 2020, having been involved in the development of the NOS 5G network since the beginning, from strategy definition to its implementation in the various network domains. Before that, Carla Botelho worked in various areas, having led since 2011 both Network Engineering and Operations, comprising multiple technological domains (Mobile Access, Fixed Access, Transport, Core, Plataforms, etc). More precisely, she was Operations Director at the former Optimus between 2011 and 2013, and Network Engineering Director at NOS between 2013 and 2020. At the moment, Carla's focus is to build and explore, together with the entire NOS team, a leading 5G network, able to provide the best service and promote innovation in Portugal.
