I am seeking a new opportunity, ideally enabling me to use my diverse background to work with various challenges. I have all of the qualities desired in an employee. I am a hard worker with an ability and willingness to learn. I communicate well with others, both conveying my points and considering the input of others. I also work well individually, as well as in team environments. My background is very diverse, reflected by degrees in Zoology, Microbiology, Genetics, and Psychology. Because of my education and work experience, I am aware of the impacts of genetics on health, but wanted to learn more about other factors that could impacted individuals – both physically and mentally. For this reason, I pursued my doctorate in psychology. I have had experience with SAS and used SPSS to analyze data for my dissertation. I am proficient in the use of Office 365. I recognize the importance of attention to detail required to complete tasks. Both professionally and academically, I have had to gather, track, and analyze large quantities of data. I have also worked on publications and presentations for large audiences. During the course of my current duties, I have become a “go-to” person. Colleagues and superiors seek my input and assistance, understanding that if I don’t know the answers, I will work to find them. My current responsibilities include training employees, reviewing work prior to submission to directors, literature searches and reviews, co-authoring articles, abstracts and posters for publications and conferences. In addition to my primary responsibilities, I have accepted additional tasks, such as testing and implementing company-wide procedures and interacting with individuals from other facilities to address their specific needs.
