Carlene Beharry

My name is Carlene Beharry, and I recently completed my double major in Finance and Business Analytics & Information Technology. I attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey and received both my bachelor’s degrees in May of 2021. These past few months I have been working for Merrill as an investment specialist in a client-facing role, providing financial data and investment information to help clients navigate the markets. Previously, I worked at South Jersey Circuits, a startup printed circuit board assembly company, as a budget analyst. My time spent at this business consisted of preparing invoices, balancing ledgers, and both producing and analyzing reports of financial transaction data. Alongside the owners, I was able to utilize the produced information to make accurate predictions on future revenues and expenses, allowing the company to better monitor its growth in their initial months. Now that I have graduated, I am seeking to work at a financial agency or Fortune500 company, as a financial analyst or research analyst. With the right opportunities and experience, I strongly believe I can achieve this goal. I am confident that my experiences, skills, and strong interests in business have prepared me to be a strong candidate for an entry level analyst position.
