Carmen Famularo

I am a ‘do good’ designer passionate about creating work that educates, inspires and cultivates positive change. I graduated from a Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication (with First Class Honours) at UTS in late 2015. As a designer, I enjoy working across a variety of platforms. I hold a particular interest in environmental sustainability and have showcased this through many of my projects and extra academic activities. During my 4 years of Undergraduate study, I embraced the opportunity to study overseas at FH Vorarlberg in Austria, participate in a global studio elective to Japan, undertake IDEO ACUMEN courses, and work along side Google for a special elective. In February 2016 I completed a master level program in Human Security at the United Nations mandated University for Peace in Costa Rica. Whilst freelancing, I got accepted into the Young Social Pioneering program for 2016 - a great social innovator incubator program for Australians aged between 18-29. Being apart of this program enabled me to develop valuable entrepreneurial skills, build my networks and find clarity of purpose as a change-maker.
