During my time with IBM, I have spent a lot of time writing up documentation for troubleshooting, resolution, or administration for internal and external publication about the various products. This required research and testing for pulling what information was available and changing/adding to it to meet the needs of the client. This included maintaining forums and creating content as needed by end users. For the last 10+ years, I have worked remotely. Therefore, I have a plenty of experience working with servers and end users through application sharing tools and/or remote access tools. I have experience working with various experience levels of user and administrators across a wide number of teams and dealing with various processes. I have years of experience troubleshooting end user and server issues across Windows, Linux, and Mac. This has included dealing with security issues and tracing network issues. During an internal audit, I spent months working on GDPR compliance regulations and what that meant for our applications. Because our application was required to be up 24x7, I have experience with handling severity 1 incidents and the pressures involved in solving those. I have experience with Agile, Trello, Github, Jira, and version control. I have spent most of the last 14 years as the team lead for my team. This included analyizing and reporting metrics up to management monthly for the production environment along with team progress reports both weekly and monthly. In my role, I have executed the tasks required to fully test an IBM product or system to ensure it functions according to specifications and client requirements and meets the business needs. Testing activities cover all aspects of the product/system including function/component, performance, system, regression, and service. I demonstrated knowledge of the domain that I was responsible for testing. I am familiar with test methodologies/techniques and am able to effectively use the tools in my area of expertise. My focus was on IBM Sametime, IBM Sametime end user clients, IBM Sametime Meeting, IBM Sametime Proxy Server, and IBM Sametime Advanced server.
