Caroline Patricia Quine

I am a UK qualified nurse with 30 years of hands on experience across all departments. I have been working as Duty Nurse Manager at Nelson Public Hospital, Nelson Marlborough District Health Board, New Zealand since 2004. I was first employed at the DHB in 1987 when I worked as an RN, firstly on the Medical ward , then in ED and then briefly on the casual pool before becoming a Duty Nurse Manager. The Nelson Marlborough District Health Board, which came in to being in 2001, employs over two thousand health professionals and other workers. Their skills and enthusiasm serve a population of nearly 120,000 in a region that is one of the fastest growing in New Zealand. Nelson Public Hospital is a 200+ bed facility and I am responsible for its smooth running 'after hours'.
