Carson Robers

Carson is a Project Development Associate at ConnectGen, currently managing the development of a portfolio of greenfield IL wind and solar projects (PJM and MISO). Previous experience prospecting and developing Northeast storage and NYISO solar. Prior to joining ConnectGen, Carson was a Senior Consultant for the electricity sector management consultancy Power Advisory LLC. His consulting service areas included development, origination and regulatory support; energy resource procurement (utility and corporate RFP administration/independent evaluation); M&A due diligence; wholesale and REC price forecasting; and policy analysis and tracking. Carson advised clients from generation and transmission developers to utilities, governments, investors and system operators across North America, with a particular knowledge of the Northeast US wholesale and clean energy markets (ISO-NE, NYISO and PJM). Carson's consulting projects spanned solar, wind, offshore wind, energy storage and transmission. Carson holds a B.A. In Economics and Environmental Policy and M.A. In Energy and Environmental Analysis from Boston University. Carson was a 2020 Chicago Fellow of the Clean Energy Leadership Institute (CELI) and board member of the Northeast Energy and Commerce Association (NECA).
