I have a wealth of experience running unique and interesting cycling events in a wide range of scenarios. I own and started Rollapaluza Roller Racing, a company that has developed a wonderful reputation through promoting cycling as a positive and exciting sport and means of transport. The post war halcyon days of Roller Racing were thought to be to buried in history. We almost single handedly dragged Roller Racing back into the limelight. Clients include BBC, Sky, Virgin, Vodafone, Adidas, CH4TV, Knog, Rapha, Vulpine. Since the heady days of running events in London's cycle courier community, from where the idea came, Rollapaluza have brought our own fast paced static cycling to prime time TV and beyond. Completing a thirty date recruitment campaign for PWC along the way and hundreds of schools events annually. We estimate to have cheered on well over 20,000 people as they've felt the burn that a 30 second sprint on with very little resistance can offer. Not content with static cycling Rollapaluza branched out into more traditional events, including: Muddy Hell The busiest cyclo-cross event of the year 2012. Now the stadium at Herne Hill is nearing completion and Muddy Hell may well make a come back this year, contact [email protected] for sponsorship options. The Urban Hill Climb The only closed road city based hill climb in the UK, with hundreds of participants and thousands of spectators. Whilst there is a keen competitive element to this steep climb, we always manage to keep an inclusive element to the event. The 2016 event featured a very popular Cargo Bike category. Keirin Frantic sprinting by the biggest track riders on offer. These events were an incredibly popular take on the feisty Japanese sport of Keirin racing. There are plans for more events in the 2017/18 season.
