Catherine L F Chin

Catherine spent 20 years in commercial marketing, creating strategies for major brands in Europe and Canada, before turning to the not-for-profit sector in 1995. She has an impressive track record in building high performance teams and mobilising exceptional social change leaders. She has led teams to that are skilled in business development, fundraising, marketing and communications strategies for a number of nfp organisations including East London Business Alliance, Blue Cross, Brandon Trust, British Paralympic Association, Afiya Trust, Diabetes UK, The Children's Society, PHAST - Public Health Action Support Team (CIC), Muscular Dystrophy Campaign, Barnardo's, Mind, SANE and Help the`Hospices. In all, she has had responsibility for leading directorates to deliver tens of millions across all income streams for various causes with budget responsibility of over £8 million per annum and leading teams of up to 70. She has also served on the boards of various NFPs and was elected to Council of the Royal Commonwealth Society in 2010-2013 & is an active member of the Institute of Fundraising having served on the Steering Committee for the Consultants Group for six years ending 2014 and formerly a member of the London Regional Committee. Furthermore, she has an extensive track record in publishing and communications and has served a portfolio of clients across the UK and Western Europe, Azerbaijan, Canada and the States.
