Chaitanyasre Lenin

Philosophy major, with a pre-medical , pre-law studies concentration. I am especially interested in questions of health equity from an interdisciplinary purview. Specifically, I am interested in understanding disparate health outcomes in the cardiovascular realm, as driven by various social determinants of health. I currently work with multiple clinical trials and research ventures in the cardiovascular domain, with a focus on improving health outcomes in the field. My unique interdisciplinary training positions me to deploy a holistic and multifacted problem-solving approach that combines the humainities, social sciences, and the sciences, so as to enhance pre-existing care paradigms. Outside of my academic pursuits, I am also an independent singer/songwriter who creates music that explicates the unique global Diaspora voice, through merging traditional Indian classical Carnatic music elements with electronica/R&B sounds. Over the years, I have also exposed myself to the rigor of many different fast-paced industries such as the legal industry, marketing, customer service, and the education sector.
