2005-Current AAI Corp/Textron Systems AZ, Iraq, Afghanistan, UT TUAS Training & Deployment Hired as a NET/BIT Instructor Deployed to Iraq as roving IO from July 2006- July 2007 to support training, evaluations, and coordination of combat operations as an Instructor, while deployed in OIF. Completed Instructor Qualification through a DES equivalency course in 2007 to comply with DES requirements for Contractors who are training Military units. Received Private Pilot license in 2008 to work toward becoming Instrument rated for future UAS flight requirements within National Airspace. Became NET Lead Instructor for coordination between the members of the NET team, the Program Manager, and the supporting military unit during training events. Received Instrument Rating and over 100 hours PIC in 2009 in order to comply with regulations stating the need for Instrument Rated UAS pilots to fly in National airspace under required COA’s. Promoted to SR. Flight Crew and Standardization Operator in 2010. As the Standardization Operator it is my responsibility to evaluate other AAI employees throughout the training year and ensure employees are following a standard operating procedure while on NET events. Deployed to Afghanistan as roving IO Dec 2011- July 2012, to assist in training and start up of Army/GOCO/EPA units. In that time I assisted in training, and correcting problems with operations for 4 Army, and 2 GOCO units, and helped start up 3 EPA’s. Became EPA 6 site lead from May 2012 to July 2012 to start up the EPA site. Purchased items, managed records, and completed required GFR and Military documents that are mandatory to conduct flight operations for 8 personnel under my management. Current UAS flight hours are over 900 hours PIC and over 500 sorties.
