Throughout my career, I have performed welding, fabrication and inspection/testing services in a wide range of industries, including, but not limited to, Structural Steel Building and Bridge Construction, Reinforced Concrete and Masonry Buildings, Pulp and Paper Manufacturing, Electrical Producing, Food Grade Manufacturing, various types of Piping and Storage Systems, and Amusement Ride Maintenance/Inspection. I have started and grown several groups performing Nondestructive Testing, Construction Materials Testing, Environmental Consulting, Geotechnical Engineering, and various Engineering Consulting Services. I have performed many of the functions requiring the services of a Construction Inspector, Department Manager, P&L Manager, Field Supervisor, Certified Welding Inspector as well as an ASNT Level II and/or Level III for the Ultrasonic, Radiographic, Magnetic Particle, and Liquid Dye Penetrant testing methods. Other training and experiences include inspection of bridge fabrication and erection, storage vessels, pressure vessels, piping, structural steel fabrication and erection, and large-scale amusement ride inspection/testing. I also have vast experience in reinforced concrete, structural masonry, post-tension cable, post-installed anchors, and spray-applied fireproofing inspections and testing. I am experienced in the use of codes and specifications, including, but not limited to, the American Welding Society (AWS), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), American Petroleum Institute (API), American Water Works Association (AWWA), Research Council for Structural Connections (RCSC), International Building Code (IBC), and the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC). I have been directly involved with the inspection and testing requirements relating to the qualification of welders and weld procedures. I have also been associated with the inspection and testing services relating to the fabrication and erection of fracture critical members for bridges, bascule bridges, large structural steel framing, bar joist roof framing, and high strength bolting applications/testing methods.
