I have always had a heart for the seniors. Through the years I have worked in long-term care facilities as a CNA and a CMT, I have had family members with dementia and living in long-term care, and I have professionally worked with and advocated for seniors for over 23 years. I was the lead advocate for VOYCE (Ombudsman Program) for 17.5 years. As an Ombudsman, I had the pleasure of education many professionals on issues that face the residents they serve. I have lived/worked through the many faces of senior living and the problems which can happen as a result of growing older. My objective is to make the aging process as pleasant as possible for all the seniors by improving their quality of life, whether they live in a long-term care community or their home. I do this by assessing their situation, offering community resources, and advocating for them when they need help.
