Chloe Mcdonald

I am currently studying a double degree in Business and Design at Swinburne Uni, with one year left. I am currently working part time at Epworth Hospital in the Sleep Unit as a business officer and have worked in various admin roles within the hospital over the last three years. Prior to going back to study, I was the Practice Manager of Tailored Medical Group. I helped set up the new clinic when it opened in February 2018 and then managed the clinic and its staff for the following two years. I carried out the accreditation and maintained RACGP standards in this time. I recruited and trained new admin staff in Best Practice medical software and inducted new doctors to our system and provided support where needed. I managed all contracts with IT, stockists and third party organisations and troubleshooted any issues that arose. All documents including the Policy and Procedure Manual, Operations Manual, Reception manual and all types of forms, I created/wrote. Prior to Tailored Medical, I had the privilege to work for Balanced Medical, initially as a medical receptionist at the Richmond clinic, then assisted in the set up of the new Hawthorn clinic. For the last year of employment at Hawthorn Medical, I was team leader and assisted with accreditation and management of the clinic and its staff. At Adairs and Sleepy's I was Assistant store manager, providing the highest level of customer service and assisting with the management and maintenance of the stores. From a very young age, I have been volunteering at the Grampians Horse Riding Centre as stable hand, horse trainer, riding instructor and tour guide. In March 2021, I shaved my head for the Worlds Greatest Shave and raided over $4000 for the Leukaemia Foundation. In my spare time, I enjoy running, bike riding, reading, sketching and going to the movies. I pride myself on my work ethic, organisational skills, customer service skills and motivation to achieve the highest standards in my personal life and at any workplace.
