I have 4+ years experience across data-driven community building, marketing, sales, operations and content creation. Now, you'll find me building a joyful community of retirees at tech startup, The Joy Club! At The Joy Club, I'm Community Operations Manager, meaning I head up the Community Team to ensure that members are getting the best experience possible – I'm responsible for overseeing the live online events programme, customer service channels and helping to develop the vibrant community. I started my career as a freelance illustrator, which led to me launching my own art print business which I have successfully ran for the past four years. In 2019, I began working at coworking startup, The Wheelhouse. I initially joined The Wheelhouse as Sales & Marketing Intern, and later became their Community & Operations Executive. In both roles, I wore several hats including social media management, marketing, office management & hosting, sales, and events organisation. I'm also very passionate about human experience and I'm committed to diversity and inclusion, focusing on uplifting voices in all communities. Academically, I graduated with an MA in Politics and International Relations in 2021, and a BSc in Psychology and Business Management in 2019, both from Keele University.
