My name is Chris Andrews and I am accomplished IT professional with experience delivering successful, high-quality, IT solutions to organisations large and small. Developing business and systems analysis skills in a culture where it was essential to think for myself, make decisions based on available information, pro-actively seek out information and quickly understand the needs of the organisation and differing business areas, has given me the ability to make an immediate and positive impact on any task, project or programme of work. I work with everyone, from executives and board members to call centre advisers, business users to technical teams, internal resources to third-party suppliers and whoever else necessary to get the job done. Not only do I get the job done, I am passionate about getting it right first time. Quality is a way of life not a cost option, and this is something I endeavour to instil into everyone I work with, colleagues, peers and teams across all tasks and projects. As a manager I am a great believer in recognising and developing the talents of others to perform to the best of their abilities and have experience in building successful, happy, high performing teams. Coaching and mentoring to maintain performance levels, I have seen many team members going on to bigger and better things and I lead by example, not afraid to roll my sleeves up, get my hands dirty and show how it's done. My skill set, knowledge and experience make me a natural troubleshooter, able to identify the root cause of problems, propose, build and implement solutions. I mitigate and manage risks and issues through to resolution, using my natural creativity where necessary to find solutions for problems that challenge conventional approaches. Having reached the limit of opportunity and challenge in my current role and with the ongoing global pandemic I have decided to retire early and start fulfilling my personal ambitions and dreams. However, I could be available for short-term, full or part time assignments but they will need to be challenging and make serious demands of my skills and experience.
